Somewhere, further on from he forest, A lone man stood int he forest. he was listening to Zukuto, Merodi, Kaori, Sachi, Toroku, Jiro, and Zinan.
"Ah ha, some n00bs think they are going to go to villages eh? Well not anymore..." He said as he threw a shuriken out from behind the trees. The shuriken implanted right into Merodi's arm.
"What the hell?!" Sachi screamed out loud.
"The loud one is next." the man thought to himself. he then pulled out three kunai, and threw them, but all three missed.
"I knew i shouldn't have thrown Kunai, I'm a terrible Kunai thrower. So now it's time to go out and fight with Taijutsu.
Gen Senti was his name, and he was a notorious mass murderer ninja. He had killed hundreds of people, and no one could catch him. He was famous for his shuriken throwing and his special Taijutsu.
"This is your final moments, so just give in." he said in a dark voice.
"W-w-w-who are you?!" Jiro shouted.
"I am.. Gen Senti, your worst fears and frights are me." Gen said.
"G-G-G-G-Gen S-Senti?!!" Toroku said shaking with fear.
"G-G-G-Gen S-S-Senti... w-w-w-why a-are you a-a-attacking us?" Zukuto asked scared to the bone.
"Because... I can." Gen said. He then appeared behind Zukuto, and stabbed him in the back, but the kunai broke.
"What the hell? No matter..." Gen said. He then grabbed a green kunai, and stabbed Zukuto.
"W-what's happening to me?!" Zukuto asked.
"Your steel skin, its dissolving. So i can kill you." Gen said.
Merodi was knocked out, but the rest of them weren't. Kaori instantly went into he shadows.
"Ah ah ah... oh no you don't." Gen said. He threw a weird looking kunai, with a weird symbol, onto the ground where her shadow was, and it was stuck in that spot. She then was forced back into he normal world, where the kunai had her pinned down to the ground. She fainted from the pain.
"Now i only need to get five more..." Gen said.
"You can't get me!" Zukuto said bravely, but right in a flash, Gen appeared right behind him, and stabbed him against a tree, through his arm.
"Now for you four." Gen said.
He instantly took a rope, and tied the three genin to a tree, and injected a poison into them, knocking them unconscious.
"So, Toroku, it's been a while..." Gen said.
"Gen, what do you want?" Toroku asked.
"For you to just let me knock you out." Gen said. He then appeared right behind Toroku, and elbowed him in the back of the head, knocking him unconscious.
"Now, the one named Zukuto, I know you aren't unconcious... so tell me, where is Faari Sutsu... He has something of mine..." Gen said.
"i won't tell you." Zukuto said.
"You have no choice... you tell me, or i kill all of you. I will leave every single one of you alive, if you tell me where i may find him..." Gen said.
"OK, I... will tell... sorry Sutsu, but i must tell him..." Zukuto said to himself, "He is in Konoha, training with the Hyuuga's..."
"thank you, I will take my leave now..." Gen said as he dashed off into the forest.
Zukuto then felt a sharp pain in his neck, and realized it was a needle. He then mysteriously fell asleep.
~~~~~~
Gen dashed through the forest. He had a long ways to go to get to Sutsu. Sutsu had his whip, the Ferisame. He had been looking for it, since he was younger, and he never found out who it was until he heard about a kid with the Ferisame. He gathered more information about this kid, and decided to chase him down, to get the Ferisame.
Gen had to rush, he knew h needed to get to that whip fast.
"You guys ready?" he asked randomly as two ninja ap[peared beside him.
One was a rather skinny girl, with buxom breasts. her name was Ninta Kana, and she carried a giant scroll on her back.
The other was a very large man, and he didn't look very fast. He had a giant kunai on his back, and his name was Nomori Senti, Gen Senti's older brother.
((OOC: Anyone can take it from here, just don't bother Gen, Ninta, or Nomori too much...))
Tashi nodded as he realized he hadn't told the sensei his name yet. "I'm Matsumi Tashi." After he introduced himself they had a brief exchange of words then Tashi was able to convince Tamasine into taking him along for their mission. Tashi was somewhat exited, he had been alone in the forest for some time and he wanted to see if his training was still as sharp as it once had been. If what he had felt was true and these two were headed for some kind of trouble, he was sure to be at the front fighting.
Tasamine was right about one thing though, they were in a hurry. Soon after Tashi worked his way into the group they set off out of the city and once again into the bush. After Jin had regained consciousness, she scowled and tried to argue the wisdom of letting a stranger join them. Because of this Tashi was sure to make some light hearted jibes at Jin whenever they had some down time.
During his last time alone he had been able to create an idea of a new jutsu and he had finally gotten it to work the day he was interrupted in the forest. He hadn't gotten to be able to use it in combat yet though. So if he had any luck, he hoped, then it wouldn't be long before they found trouble, or trouble finds them.
((OOC: I will not allow this to die...keep posting))
Zukuto shook his head, dizzy from the side effects of the drug in the needle, and the loss of blood. He strained to see but his vision was blurred. she blinked a couple times and looked around. Everyone was still unconcious; He had failed them. He couldn't save them in time and wasn't prepared to face someone of that shinobi's level. Zukuto shook with anger. Damn him, he thought, I'll get him if it's the last thing i do! The needle in his neck wobbled violently and then shot away sticking into a tree nearby. The kunai pinning his arm to the tree shook as well and then fell from the tree. Zukuto inspected his arm. The wound from where the kunai had penetrated his arm was now rapidly closingGood, he thought, Sukin Hagane has flushed the acid from my system. He flexed his arm once the wound closed and then inspected the ropes which held hi to the tree. He grabbed the ropes with his free arm and ripped them easily away. He fell landing in a kneeling position steadying himself. Got to get the circulation going, i guess i lost more bloo then i thought, he thought to himself. He stood and stretched. Once he was sure of himself he walked over to where Kaori lay pinned to the ground. He pulled the kunai from her body and then quickly shredded a peice of his shirt and pressed his hand down into the wound. Kaori grimmaced. She was somewhat concious but not well enough to walk on her own yet. He rolled her over onto her back and grabbed a small towel from the bag of supplies they had all brought with them. He folded it up and placed it on her head.
"Mizu Sa-Ji no Jutsu," he said as a small stream of cold water filled the towel. He made sure she was breathing and left her to help the others. He found Merodi on the ground a little ways away from Kaori. She had removed the kunai and dressed the wound but Gen made sure he stuck her with a needle as well. Zukuto removed the needle and picked her up. He lay her down next to Kaori and applied a wet towel to her forehead as well. He walked over to The large tree which held Sachi, Zinan and Jiro. Zukuto made to grab the ropes and rip them away when he heard Sachi groan.
"...What...the hell...happened," she said weekily her eyes slightly openning. "Don't worry, you're safe now," he said with a smile.
Zukuto ripped the rope away and caught her. He forgot about Zinan and Jiro who collapsed to the ground, Jiro landing softly on his bottom and Zinan on his face.
"Ow..." Zinan said apparently coming to from the impact. Zukuto took Sachi over to the other two girls and lay her down with a wet towel. Sachi lost conciousness and laythere with the other two girls. Zukuto left her to help Zinan up and to also carry Jiro over. Zinan was a little out of it but otherwise allright to stand. Zukuto told him to bring Jiro over to where the girls lay and approached Toroku. He lifted him and brought him over with the others. Jiro checked his comrades over a few times and then looked up at Zukuto. Zukuto had his head down and his shoulders hung low. He sat motionless and speachless as he made sure eveyone was allright.
"Zukuto," Zinan said. "Zukuto, it's not your fault. He was too powerfull," his voice trailed off. Zukuto stood and wrapped a minor explosive tag to a kunai. He tossed it into the pile of burnt wood and the fire re-lit. He reached into the bag and withdrew two canteens. He motioned for Zinan to come over to the fire. Zinan stood and walked over to one of the stumps to sit on. Zuktuo tossed him a canteen.
"I just wasn't expecting an attack," Zukuto began as he sipped from his canteen. "At least none of you perished, but next time we may not be so lucky. I'm glad that I wasn't the only one to wake, thanks for the help Zinan."
"No problem," He replied, "but what are we going to do now?"
"Well, seeing as everyone is still unconcious we will have to stay here a little while longer," He said looking back to the others laying down. "We still have a mission to complete and can't afford to go to Konoha. I just hope Sutsu can handle it. Maybe with his fellow learners in the Hyuuga clan he'll stand a chance. We'll see him again; he's strong and I know he'll be allright with some help."
Zinan nodded and they both talked for a while longer. Zukuto stood and tied his canteen to his belt.
"Zinan," he said, "stay alert. I don't want anything to take us by suprise while everyone is incapacitated. We'll take shifts: I'll keep watch around the perimeter and you keep watch over everyone else. I'll come back and switch off with you in a while. If anyone awakens while I'm gone tell them where I am."
"Ok, be careful Zukuto," Zinan said.
Zukuto nodded and jumped off into the dark forest. Zinan walked over to the group of others and knelt down beside Sachi. She coughed a couple times and blinked her eyes open.
((OOC: HAHAHA! i shall keep this thing living! *gives it mouth-to-mouth*)) Sachi slowly opened her eyes to find Zinan staring her in the face. He flashed a weak smile of relief, and helped her sit up. Sachi instantly grabbed her arm where Gen had injected the poision. "Are you okay?" Zinan asked her. Sachi nodded, looking at the ground. Zinan took the canteen from his belt and offered her a drink. She took it, draining almost half of it before giving it back to him. Sachi then examined her fallen comrades on either side of her. "Where's Zukuto-kun?" she asked, realizing he was nowhere in sight. "He's watching the perimeter. I was told to guard you guys." Zinan answered. Sachi sighed, stood up, and walked over to where her brother was lying. She considered sitting down on his stomach, but wasn't sure how he had been hurt, so sat next to him instead. Zinan joined her. The two gennin sat in silence for a while, Sachi watching her brother lie motionless in front of her. In a wave of sudden emotion, she felt the reality of the previous attack. She realized that they had been ambushed by a random ninja, a ninja of much greater skill than any of them, and he swiftly knocked them all out in an instant, just for some information. She realized that, just as swiftly, he could have ended all their lives. Tears welled up in her eyes, but before she let herself cry, she sent Zinan to check on Zukuto. She couldn't have her teammate see her cry. After Zinan had gone, Sachi flopped onto Toroku's chest, letting out all her choked back emotion. Most of her anguish was from the recent attack, but she felt old emotions creeping in, emotions from the day she had an argument with Toroku, and even the day she had learned of her parents' disappearence. As she continued to sob on Toroku's chest, he eventually began to stir. He opened his eyes, and sat up slightly, shocked to find his little sister, of all people, crying on his chest. When she realized he was awake, she stared at him through wet eyes. Unable to choke back the remainder of the released emotions, Sachi threw her arms around her brother's neck, and continued to sob. As shocked as he was, Toroku comforted her. ~~~ After a few hours, everyone was concious. Zukuto had come back from his watch, a bundle of fish in his arms. As he began to cook, he couldn't help but realize the unusual silence from everyone. The entire group seemed grim. Deciding to get the feeling over and done with, Zukuto broke the silence. "Toroku...our attacker, Gen...He seemed to know you..." he said. Toroku looked at him from the corner of his eye, and retured his gaze to the fire. "Gen Senti...A rouge ninja from the Hidden Cloud Village...He was a teammate of mine, back when I was a gennin." he said through clenched teeth. Everyone looked at him in shock. "Why did he leave? Why is he the way he is? Do you know?" Kaori asked. Toroku closed his eyes, plagued with the memories that were now flooding back to him. "I'm not sure why he is the way he is..." he began, "But he left...or more like, he was banished from our village at the age of 15..." He trailed off, leaving the other ninja staring at him in suspense. "Banished why? Why, Sensei??" Jiro asked frantically. Toroku opened his eyes, revealing a look of sheer anger. "He was banished because....he killed our sensei." ((OOC: do what you want with the remainder of his horrible past. or pm me about it. its late, and i cant think straight. ^^ )
((OOC: Not bad ashley tho i dont think the thread will be needing mouth to mouth again for a while lol))
Zukuto clenched his fist. Now he knew he had to defeat Gen. Why would anyone kill their sensei, he thought. Toroku placed an arm on his shoulder.
"It's ok Zukuto," he said. "It's not your fault. Hell, if it weren't for you we'd all still be hung up in various places freezing to death." Zukuto forced a grin and nodded. Toroku smiled and continued. "Don't worry, we'll see him again. But for the time being just forget about him and move on. When the time comes you'll be ready."
Zukuto nodded again. He looked over at the others who all gave him reasuring nods. He felt better now knowing he had a group of friends who trusted in him. He smiled and stood.
"Well," he began. "If everyone is ready we should probably leave here. Kaori, Merodi, are you all right to go?"
Kaori and Merodi looked at each other and nodded also standing. "Right behind ya' Zukuto." The cloud village shinobi stood as well as they said their good-byes.
((OOC: Time for a Sutsu moment! =D I decided he will come home early... three months is a long time...)) Sutsu looked down to the ground on his knees. Ashori had beaten him again.
"Damn... How can you beat me so fast..." Sutsu asked.
"Because I don't have to concentrate on exhausting chakra through my eyes. My eyes instantly see all chakra points, where as yours only see the main points by wasting chakra through them." Ashori said bluntly.
"Well, Sutsu... your training is almost complete... for today..." Etsuootto said.
"Oy... how long has it been since i first came here?" Sutsu asked.
"Well, it's only been a week, and surprisingly... your almost done... you just need to perfect it, although you will never be able to beat Ashori at this style of fighting, you will be very powerful. Your grandfather underestimated you, saying you needed 3 months here... that was way too long... so i should have you leaving in about 3 days..." Etsuootto said.
"Really? Wow, you did this very fast. Thank you... Sensei." Sutsu said as he turned around and left.
"Wait... Sutsu..." Ashori said as she ran up behind him, "You wanna go out to get some Raman or something?"
"Sure, that sounds very nice." Sutsu said.
They then traveled down across some paths, and headed to a restaurant. They sat down, and waited to for their Raman.
"So, Sutsu, you have been here for a week, and i still don't know anything about you. Tell me a little about yourself." Ashori said.
"Well, I'm 13, and I used to live here, before i ran away... and well, I'm the grandson of the Hitokage." Sutsu said briefly.
"I see... well, I'm 15. I have always lived here, and probably always will..." Ashori said.
"I see." Sutsu said as an eerie silence started to fall.
They sat there for about a minute before Ashori asked, "So... do you have a girlfriend?"
"Yes, Seruffu Merodi. She also used to live here, but she too ran away."
"Wait... Merodi... she is... still alive?! Oh my God! That's awesome! Merodi and I used to be friends! But then she ran away..." Ashori said.
"I see... very interesting... Well, I'm gonna go to bed now, I'm tired." Sutsu said as he finished his Raman.
~~~~~~ *two days later*
"My last day... I can finally go home." Sutsu said, "I will miss it here, but... I want to go home."
"Hello Sutsu. Your final day has come... I don't know if you've noticed but... you've become stronger... much stronger." Etsuootto said.
"Why thank you Sensei..." Sutsu said.
"Please, call me Etsuootto. I am not your sensei anymore. Now i am your judge, and i will see all that you have learned... and decide if you really are ready to leave." Etsuootto said as he sat down, "Now... show me all that you've learned on this dummy."
A stuffed doll stood in the middle of the room, around the same height as Etsuootto himself.
Sutsu used all the knowledge he had acquired, and decided to use a made up move he had created in his spare time.
"Go Ten Metsubou no Jutsu!" Sutsu screamed. He then landed one hit to the dummy's left knee with his right hand, then left hand to the dummy's right knee. He then hit the left elbow with his right hand and the right elbow with his left hand followed, and then he hit into the heart area, causing a big crater to form at the hart area.
"I see... very interesting... that is a very talented move you have there. Well, I have no choice but to pass you, and to let you go. It was nice meeting you Sutsu.
"Good bye, Etsuootto, Ashori. Sutsu said as he walked away.
Sutsu had only walked a few mils, before he encountered a strange group of ninja.
"Well hello there. I presume you are Faari Sutsu?" said a very creepy one who looked as if the leader of the group.
"Why yes, but why does it matter to you?" Sutsu asked.
"You have a little gift of mine... and i want it back!" said the man as he dashed at Sutsu.
"Sutsu released his whip, and whipped it around. The man stopped in his tracks.
"That's MINE!" the man said.
"It's mine, I stole it." Sutsu said.
"You obviously don't know who i am... do you..." the man said.
"Obviously not." Sutsu said not scared at all.
"Senti Gen, I want that whip now boy."
"G-G-G-G-G-Gen!!" Sutsu said as he froze up in silence.
"Yes, along with my partner, Kana Ninta, and my older brother, Senti Nomori. We want that whip and we want it now." Gen said.
"I-I... can't let you have it... so... let's go!" Sutsu said.
"As you wish. Dark powers! I call upon thee... Ashi Bakuha no Jutsu!" Gen said as a huge black sphere appeared and blasted Sutsu back against a tree.
"I... I'm not done yet!" Sutsu said, "Go Ten Metsubou no Jutsu!" he said as he unleashed his chakra to his eyes and used his jutsu.
"Ah! How did you- how did you blast my chakra points open?!" Gen asked surprised, "You are very talented... if i trained you, you could become a very powerful puppet for my use..."
"I won't join you!" Sutsu screamed.
"Then i have no choice..." Gen said with an evil smile, "Omoi Seishi no Jutsu!" At that moment, Gen conquered Sutsu's mind, and perminantly controlled everything he did. Sutsu was unconscious until the jutsu wore off, if it would ever ware off.
"Now, I want that whip, and i want you to help me get those brats that we left alive a ways back... Come Ninta and Nomori, we go back to kill those guys who told us where Sutsu was." Gen said as he chuckled evilly.

(Okay, Okay, I am a hypocrite and a horrible person. But I finally did get around to posting)
The three ninjas seemingly flew through the timber, bounding from tree branch to tree branch. It had been two days since Tamasine and Jin had left the Hidden Waterfall Village with Tashi. The past two days had passed so quickly, a seeming blur, and Jin recognized her surroundings as that of the Fire Country. Although she was tired from the extreme pace that they had been keeping for the past two days, she was happy to feel more at home. She decided that she liked this new ninja, Tashi. The few conversations that they had had were enough to convince the young genin that he was good- natured. And besides, Tamasine had tolerated him for two days without becoming irritable. He must be a good guy.
The continual running had lulled Jin into a daydream state, and she passed the time with her own imagination. Eventually she lost interest in paying attention to her surroundings and followed her sensie's steps absent-mindedly.
A blur of motion caught her eye on either side of her, and she had no time to register this before she crashed downwards through the tree limbs. A few rotten ones broke beneath her, her and the two figures gripping her arms.
Snapping to her senses, Jin swung her legs towards the trunk of a tree and clung to it, concentrating her chakra in her feet for all she was worth. Her arms hung, pulled towards the earth, with an attacker clinging to either one.
As she felt chakra surging into her left arm, she realized who her attackers had been.
"Hiroki! You damn blind rodent! And Yogi! You're leaking chakra like a -- "
The boys' laughter drowned out her cursing. She slid down the tree to a lower branch, where Tamasine was waiting, also chuckling, and Tashi, who looked confused.
Yogi layed on his back, slightly winded from his loss of chakra. The boy was short and lacking a notable athletic phisique, but not lacking in acne. His blonde hair and reddish skin made him somewhat unnatractive. And his bloodline made matters worse- his special ability had no use in combat, and usually hindered him greatly; he easily transfered his chakra to anything living that he touched. Problem was, he couln't stop the flow of chakra if he tried. But he was a kind and generous young boy, and he loved healing and growing things, and very skilled in genjutsu and healing arts.
Yogi waved to Tashi, showing a grin that took up most of his face. "Who'd you guys bring with you? And where have you been!? We're both getting bored with you guys gone every day!"
"Who cares! You guys scared the crap out of me!" Jin said, flushing from embarassment. They had taken her by surprise, even though she was supposed to be the strongest of the team.
"You should have been paying attention, Jin." chided Tamasine.
"Going on A-Rank missions instead of me, and she still can't see a couple of lowly genin coming?" said Hiroki in his clear, quiet, shadowy, beautiful voice. His dark glasses reflected the glare of the sun streaming between the tree branches.
Hiroki was abnormally tall for his age, and might have been thought adult-ish because of his maturity and quiet nature. His thin body gave it away though. His shoulders were broad and square, and his loose- fitting shirts made him look like he was built like a refrigerator. Messy black hair fell around his face. He really didn't keep up with his hair cuts much, because, well; Hiroki was blind. He had unfortunately been born blind in a ninja village. But his sense of smell, hearing, and touch were so well honed, he managed to pass for being able to see. He was the genius of the village; intellectually, only a few jounin were able to surpass him. He was a hard worker and managed to graduate the ninja academy.
Recently Hiroki had become stronger and more skilled, thanks to a jutsu that he had created himself. It worked sort of like radar, and allowed Hiroki to be far more useful in the field.
Secretly, Jin was deathly afraid of losing her reputation as the strong one, the fighter of the group. This spawned a new rivalry between them, which is probably why Jin reacted to his comment by attacking him.
"Kage Bunshin no-jutsu!" she growled, and 10 copies of herself flew at him, punches aimed at his throat.
In the same moment, Hiroki dropped down, using a powerful blow to break the limb that they were standing on. He quickly made the signs- horse-monkey-tiger-horse-snake-monkey- his hands were a blur of skin as he whispered the jutsu under his breath.
Jin's copies colided with each other, bursting into clouds of smoke. The real Jin was falling with Hiroki. She kicked off of a nearby branch, pushing herself away from him, and throwing shruiken in his direction.
Hiroki's radar vision was going mad. He knew what must be shruiken were coming at him from all directions, but now Jin had moved behind him. He could feel her coming, soundless, but she must be coming. He backflipped over her to the safety of another limb.
Jin had narrowly missed him, and one shruiken had caught his leg while he dodged her. Blood ran down his pant leg. Damn... how did she get behind me so fast? Hiroki could still feet her presence, so he aimed a kick in her direction.
Jin dodged the kick, but not the punch that came afterwards. She let the blow's momentum carry her backwards into a tree, which she springboarded off of, her kunai held out in front of her.
Tamasine caught Jin by the collar, yanking her out of her aerial dive. The fight had come to an end. Jin engaged in a futile struggle against his grip while her sensei lectured her, and Yogi touched his hand to Hiroki's wounded leg.
Tamasine sighed, turning to Tashi. "Meet Konoha's Team Five." he said tiredly.
((sorry I wrote u a novel, but I had some catching up to do.))

During the brief scuffle between Jin and her fellow comrade Tashi reclined against a tree and silently watched and assessed the movements and abilities of each individual when he could. It wasn't so much as a threat analysis but more of an initial skill assessment to see their strengths and weaknesses. Once Jin was disciplined for attacking a fellow team member, Tashi was officially introduced to the team. "I'm honored to meet such a friendly team." he said with a slight crook in his smile as he glanced alternatively between Jin and Hiroki. In reality he was a little disappointed that it had not been a real attack. He was itching for a fight to stretch and try out his abilities. Not to mention his newest jutsu. He had a question but wisely held his tongue, figuring that questioning Jin's position on the team would bring him more harm then knowledge. There had to be some reason why she was highly regarded enough to go on an A-rank mission. Another reason why he didn't ask was because in all honesty, if he had to choose, his loyalties would like with Jin and not these new boys. After all he knew her better, or at least knew her to an extent of two days travel would allow. All he knew of these boys were that one was blind and the other had chakra control issues. Thusly his answer came to him, she was the most physically capable. Then again the recent performance warned him not to try and exploit Hiroki's blindness as a weakness. Perhaps it's a question for the ages... he mused as he absently scratched at his eyebrow. Maybe I'll stick around for a while and get to know all of you better, yes? I'm certain some interesting conversations will come up. Maybe I'll even figure out why this countries team members want to kill each other." once again he let a crooked smile find its way to his face as he glanced at Jin. And here I was thinking my country had problems... he absently thought to himself. Soon the team and Tashi started moving again. It wasn't long before they passed the subtle borders of the village and walked into streets with buildings instead of game paths and trees. "I wondered Jin." he began as he glanced at her to see if he had her attention. "Why you have not become a chunin yet." he chuckled, a light hearted sound, and then pushed her to the side. "But after that display, I finally understand why that is." These words provoked a rather enraged Jin to lunge at him. Wisely, Tashi had been ready for an outburst and danced out of the way with a crooked grin on his face. Before anything too drastic happened Tamasine grabbed onto Jin and stopped her attack. "Ah don't take it too seriously, it was only a joke. If things go well and I stay around a while, maybe I'll show you a few things solitude can teach you." he folded his hands behind his back as he said this, ready to proceed into the town.

((OOC: Wow, been a while...time to post after rereading EVERYTHING. Let's pick up where my group left off...))
Merodi and Kaori waved at the cloud shinobi and walked off into the forest to wait for Zukuto. Zukuto lingered for a moment more to talk with Sachi, Zinan and Jiro.
"Good luck to all of you. I hope to see you all in the chunin exams. I hope I'm not wrong in considering us friends."
Sachi laughed and put her arms around the other two boys.
"Of course Zukuto! Friends we are!" she exclaimed.
Zukuto shook Zinan and Jiro's hands and then bent down to hug Sachi who, which was very unlike her, returned the gesture. Zukuto stratened up and shook Toroku's hand.
"Take care Zukuto," he said with a smile.
"I will, and keep an eye on these three for me will ya?" he said with a wink to the other three. They chuckled.
"I'll try," Toroku said with a fake grimace. Sachi punched him in the arm.
"Bye!" Zukuto said as he sped off into the forest.
Sachi waved and the cloud ninja too took off in the opposite direction.

Zukuto jumped through a few trees and caught up with Kaori and Merodi.
"What took ya?" Kaori asked.
"Just saying good bye," he replied. "So, where are we off to again?"
Merodi retreived a scroll from inside her clothes and examined it. She looked up and motioned for everyone to follow her. She darted right and they continued on.
"Ok now we're on course," she said.
"All right, just keep your eyes peeled. No more suprise attacks."
The group sped off through the trees and vanished through the leaves.

((OOC: ZOMG. so long since anyones posted last...'sides ben, lol))
Sachi watched Zukuto leap off into the trees, almost letting out a dreamy sigh, when Zinan poked her in the face.
"You hugged him.....Are you feeling okay, Sachi?" he asked. She swatted his hand away from her head, and shot a glare at him.
"I'm fine." she snapped, and headed back to their camp area to start gathering their things.
"Really? 'Cuz that look you had in your eyes just then had 'I love Zukuto' gushing all over the place!" Jiro added, teasing.
Sachi wheeled around on her heel, and stared daggers at her two teammates, sending shivers down their spines. She pulled two kunai from her holster and threw them right above their heads and into the trunks of two trees behind them, missing their heads barely. The two young ninja had looks of a near-death experience written all over their faces. Still angry, Sachi marched right up to them, and glared at them both.
"If you're suggesting I have a crush on Zukuto, you can forget it." she growled, and turned to finish packing her things. Jiro and Zinan looked at each other in fear, and scrambled to get up to do the same.
As they began gathering their belongings, Toroku appeared from the bushes, returning from saying good-bye to Zukuto. Sachi watched her brother walk up and sighed; if he was back, that meant Zukuto was gone for good now. After thinking this, she froze, and thought for a second.
Did she have a crush on Zukuto?
Sachi felt herself blush at the thought of this. Could she have a crush on Zukuto? No, it wasn't right. She didn't like him, she was just sad to see a new friend go after just getting to know him better. Agreeing with herself on this decision, she packed the final things into her bag, and stood to go, as did the rest of her squad.
"You guys ready to head out?" Toroku asked, and all three of them nodded. With that, they too headed to their next destination: the Moon Village.
((OOC: there. post'd. i dont actually remember if thats really where they were going....and if so, i dont even know why....^^; WAIT. i do remember. to gather chuunin wotsits. so...ja.))

((OOC: You put Zinan and Jiro in there place Sachi! lol, well i guess ill continue))
From within a large tree canopy a young girl and two other people drop to the ground below. Merodi brushes back a stray hair and walks to the edge of the ground to a steep cliff.Zukuto and Kaori follow behind her and look off over the cliff to the ocean of shimmering green below. Zukuto takes in a deep breath and opens his eyes slowly.
"Wonderful isn't it?" he asked the two girls.
Kaori took off her hood and let her golden hair flow in the wind. She looked out over the trees and gave a slight smirk.
"Yes, it is," she replied.
Merodi paid no attention to them as she furitivly retreived the map from her belt and looked it over. She looked up and then back down again. She cocked her head to an angle and then flipped the map over.
"Uh," she started. "Guys, we may have a problem..."
Zukuto and Kaori approach Merodi and look over on the map.
"What's wrong," they asked her.
She pulled out a small brush and pointed to a spot on the map. "You see this, that symbol marks the Sand Village..." she paused as she moved the brush across the map in the opposite direction. "...we're here..."
((Anime fall))
Kaori was the first to rise. She glared at Merodi with a firey anger that neither Zukuto and Merodi had seen before.
((Anime fire eyes))
"You mean to tell me we followed you in the WRONG direction this ENTIRE TIME!?" she fumed.
Merodi dropped the map and
((Anime shrink back moment))
rubbed her toe in the dirt. "Yes," she replied. Kaori returned to her normal state and glared at Merodi. After a while she snickered. Zukuto rose and rubbed his head. He looked at Kaori with concern.
"Are you ok Kaori," Zukuto asked.
Kaori then did the unthinkable: she laughed. Not only laugh but hit the ground in hillarity. She rolled about on the ground fo a while as Zukuto and Merodi took a step back in fear.
((Question marks over heads))
Kaori laughed for a long time, never seeming to end until they died down and eventually turned into small sniffles. She lay there for a moment unmoving with tears in her eyes. That's something I'd expect from you, Hachiro, she said to herself.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
She remembered back to her genin days in her squad with Hachiro and how he'd constantly screw up the directions to anywhere they went. He'd stand with the map scratching the back ofhis head and flip the map around in different was until he'd put it awawy and look around them.
"You aren't lost are you Hachiro," Kaori asked him slightly annoyed.
Hachiro perked up and turned to face Kaori with a nervous smile on his face.
((Anime sweatdrop))
"Uh, no Kaori, I know EXACTLY where we're going!"
Their sensei stared at him stoicly. "Really, then where is the destination?"
Hachiro's eyes darted from place to place. He finally whipped around with his arm pointed off in the distance. "Over there!" he exclaimed before marching off down the path. Kaori and her sensei looked at eachother and sighed.
"Yep, we're lost," Kaori said.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
She lay there slightly sobbing wishing he weren't dead and blaming herself for getting him involed with her. "I'm responsible for your death Hachiro," she said quietly. "I'm sorry."
"Kaori?"
Kaori turned to see Zukuto standing over her. "Are you okay?" Kaori wiped the tears from her eyes and stood putting her hood back on her head and tucking her hair back inside.
"Yeah," she said with a sniff, "I'll be all right."
Zukuto patted her on the shoulder. "It wasn't your fault," Zukuto said to her. Kaori shrugged him off and walked ahead. Zukuto hung his head down and returned to Merodi.
"Well, i know of a small town a ways from here so we should try to make it there by nightfall," he said looking at the map. "I don't know what they'll think of ninja so we'll have to go in without our headands. Toshiro and I got a rude welcome when we came my last time."
Merdoi nodded and looked over at Kaori. She was already undoing her headband. She put it in her pouch and approached the other two. "Can we go now?" she asked.
Zukuto nodded and removed his headband as well, his brown hair now falling over his forehead. "Yes, let's go."
Zukuto, Merodi and Kaori then jumped off the cliff and disapeared in the forest of green below.
((Ok, now someone post after thi cause i gotta think of some ideas of what'll happen next and how me and stu meet again for the Chunin exams))

Gen looked back at his possessed slave. "I've got use for you later." he thought to himself. Gen continued on his way, followed by his partners.
As they passed through the trees, kunai flew through the air, one hitting Ninta in the shoulder.
"Stop in the name of the Leaf Village! We place you criminals under arrest!"
Gen froze. He knew how to escape. He quickly made some hand signs and then the area went black. Gen, Sutsu and friends darted straight out, so they could escape the black area, then Gen snapped. Following the snap, the black area burst into purple flames killing all the ninja inside of it. They quickly rushed from the area to avoid any back up that may come.
"We must track down the accomplices of Sutsu..." Gen said to himself.

((OOC: FINALLY AT LONG LAST I CAN POST IN HERE AGAIN!!!))
It was near nightfall as Zukuto, Merodi and Kaori approached the village. They waited up in a tree for two sentries to pass by before they dropped down and snuck into the village. They walked slowly through the empty streets and looked around for any signs of life in any of the other buildings. Zukuto constantly blew his hair out of his face.
"Ugh! I hate not having my headband on!" he said in an agitated whisper. He reached into his pouch and drew a small strand of cloth. He pulled his hair back into a ponytail and bound it together with the cloth. Satisfied, he motioned for Merodi and Kaori to follow him into a building to the right, the only one with lights on. Above the door hung a wooden sign that read:
"Chimatsu Pub."
Zukuto opened the door and let the girls in first. The group walked in to find a rather old looking pub with a few people inside. In the right corner of the building sat a group of shady individuals who watched the three suspiciously. a few others littered the place sipping drinks, playing cards or sleeping in the chair they sat in. Zukuto walked over to the bartender.
"Hey," Zukuto began. "Do you think we could get some water and maybe something to eat? We've traveled for a long time and are very tired."
The bartender wiped his hands with his rag and looked the three over. He smirked. "Sure! Just have a seat anywhere you'd like and I'll bring it right out to ya," he said motioning to the table nearest the bar. Aidan nodded and they walked over to the table. As they sat down Merodi dropped her headband out of her pouch. She quickly retreived it and shoved it back inside.
The man in the middle of the shady fellows in the corner noticed this and whispered to his buddies.
Zukuto drew Merodi in close and whispered in her ear.
"Be careful with that, they really don't like ninja," He cautioned. "There's no telling what they'll do to us if they find out."
"Like what," Merodi asked.
"This," a man said behind her.
He held a curved knife over her head. He was just about to plunge it into her shoulder when Zukuto appeared next to him and grabbed his arm. The man looked at his arm and then at Zukuto and tried to free himself. Zukuto tightened his grip and threw him against the far wall. He was the man from the table of shady men. His two partners watched stunned as their friend hit the wall. Zukuto turned to Merdoi and Kaori.
"Run!" He shouted.
Merodi and Kaori jumped up and ran from the building. Merodi lingered to look back and motion for Zukuto to follow but he shook his head and shooed her away. She reluctantly left and Zukuto turned to face the other two. One threw a punch at Zukuto. Th punch landed with a loud crack on Zukutos left cheek. He didn't flich. The man reeled back grabbing his broken fist and writhing on the ground in agony. The other man was more cautious and circled Zukuto, faking in and out. Zukut stood still following him only with his eyes. The man circled to his right and lunged with a curved knife at his throat. Zukuto's right leg kicked up and slammed into the man's face. The man stopped in mid air and dropped his knife. He fell to the floor, unconcious. The man he had thrown against the wall had recovered and he stood now cracking his knuckles.
"This will be fun," he said. "We haven't had a god ninja to fight in two years."
That was me you fool, Zukuto thought to himself.
The man held his fingers to his lips and let a piercing whistle echo through the pub and out into the street. Withing seconds people came running down the stairs of the pub and from the street. They all carried different weapons and grinned maliciously at Zukuto. The man in the center who had summoned them rolled his neck and pulled out a long wooden club.
Zukuto took out his headband and tied it around his forehead. He rippied the cloth strand from his hair and his hair fell down to its original look.
"Man, can i ever catch a break?" Zukuto said to himself. He crouched into a defensive stance. "I don't want to fght you."
"Oh, but we do, shinobi," he spat with disdain. He motioned for two of his men. "Go find the girls."
The men nodded and ran for the door. Zukuto flashed a few hand signs. "Sumiyaka za Taki no Jutsu!"
In a blink of an eye Zukuto was in front of the men with his right fist drawn back. "Kyouseiyajuu Dageki!"
His fist glowed with a blue energy of building chakra and he slammed the man to the right with his fist. The man took the hit and was sent hurtling to the far wall. He splintered through the wooden wall and continued on down the street. Zukuto pivoted in midair shifting his weight and slammed the other man with a downward strike. The man hit the floor creating a crater in the wooden floor. Zukuto landed on the floor next to him, now both fists glowing blue.
"You leave them out of this," He said darkly. "Your fight is with me."
Then with a snap from the man's fingers the others all charged Zukuto.
((Stuart, now u go and write about Merodi and Kaori running from the pub and hiding somewhere. Then have them fight some people and run back to the pub to check on Zukuto, then I'll take over from there.))

((OOC: OMGWTFBBQ the wot? I'm posting. 0.0))
Exhausted and bummed out, Sachi's squad left the Moon Village at dusk. It had taken them a few short days to get there, on their hunt for genin to participate in the Chuunin exams in the fall. However, the Moon Village had immediately declined the offer, saying something about not trusting the Cloud Village after hearing some stories of a rouge Cloud ninja wreaking havoc around the Sand Village, and the squad was promptly ushered out of the village gates.
"Man, this really bites." Sachi complained as the large gates closed behind them. "What if it's like this with every village, Sensei?" Toroku sighed and scratched the back of his head.
"Not sure. I bet if we take care of Gen, though, we'll be able to regain their trust and they'll send their genin to the Chuunin exams." he said with a fearful, yet sad look in his eye. Sachi noticed, but chose not to say anything.
"Where to next then, Toroku-Sensei?" Jiro asked, picking up his bag.
"The Stone Village, Iwagakure."
~~~~~
For a few days, the team traveled north to the Stone Village, mostly in silence. None of them had really anything to talk about, or wanted to talk about, since they left Zukuto and the others.
Sachi watched her brother for a bit as they walked, trying to read him. When they left the Moon Village, he had mentioned having to "take care of" Gen, his former teammate. She knew that Gen was a terrible person and probably deserved what he had coming, but she couldn't help but notice that the idea also made Toroku seem slightly uneasy. It was almost as if he didn't like the idea of putting down one of his own.
It wasn't until that night while they were having dinner around the campfire that Sachi decided to bring up the topic.
"You don't want to kill Gen, do you, Toroku-Sensei?" she asked suddenly. So suddenly, Toroku nearly choked on his rice. He turned to her, a shocked look on his face.
"What makes you think that? He's a terrible person, and he needs-- no, deserves to be killed." he replied. Sachi shrugged and averted her gaze to the ground.
"I know, but ever since you mentioned killing him, you seem kind of down. Was he more than just a teammate to you, Nii-san?" she asked. Toroku gave her a look of gratitude; she never called him "Nii-san", which meant that she was worried about him.
"Ooh, sounds like there's a story there!" Zinan chimed, eating the last of his rice. "Was there, Sensei?" The three genin all stared at him, looks of anticipation on their faces. Toroku sighed heavily, and frowned.
"No, there's not. He was simply a teammate. We never got along, and hardly talked. The only time we cooperated with each other was when we had to work together, and even then it wasn't great." he snapped, sounding harsher than he meant.
"Really? There's no awesome rival story or anything?" Jiro asked, a little disappointed.
"No. Now, if anyone brings up that bastard again, I won't let you participate in the Chuunin exams in the fall." Toroku warned, and as if to finalize the end of the discussion, he stood from his log-seat and went for a walk, leaving three uncertain preteens in his wake.
"Aww man, I know there's a story there of some sort! But now we don't get to hear it..." Zinan complained.
Sachi thought back on her brother's words. He had said Gen was simply a teammate, and nothing more. Mulling this over in her mind, she brought her knees to her chin and stared into the fire.
She knew Toroku was lying.
((OOC: mwahaha! now things are picking up~ btw, where is Gen at this point?))
((OOC: Gen is stalking Zukuto Merodi and Kaori, Ms. AshAshsalot. He plans on making a scene with them if you catch my drift.))
Merodi and Kaori ran to a near by hotel lobby. They caught their breath in there and then continued running. Along a dirt road they were running along, two shady characters stopped them in their tracks.
"We don't like you shinobi running around here like this. You shinobi aren't anything but trouble around these parts. We would appriciate if you would let us kill you now." A tall fellow with a harpoon said.
"We won't let you kill us that easily!" Merodi said as she swung around behind him, holding a kunai to his neck.
"Oh, a fast one is she? I'll take care of her fast." said the accomplice woman, holding two knives.
Kaori hid into the shadows and attacked the woman. But all her attacks missed. The woman then threw one knife at Merodi, stabbing into her arm. The man then spun around and hit Merodi in the head with the baco end of his harpoon, then spun around looking for Kaori.
"Where are you?" he asked to himself.
A kunai flew out of the shadows and stabbed him in the leg.
"You god damn whore! You better come out or I'll kill you in the worst way possible!" the man screamed.
Merodi woke up to see the woman with the knives about ready to stab her. She flipped backwards, avoiding the stab, and then spun her leg around, kicking the woman in the face. She then got her kunai and stabbed the lady in the heart, killing her. Merodi then ran off to help Kaori.
Kaori was still in the shadows, not being attacked. Every chance she had, she would throw some needles at her opponent, but she wasn't able to hit him where she needed to.
Merodi ran up to the man and axe kicked himm on the head. At tha moment, the manswung around and slashed Merodi's stomach with his harpoon. Merodi fell over, gasping her stomach as blood rushed out. As the man was about to slash Merodi's head off, Kaori threw a needle straight through his temple. He keeled over, dead instantly.
"We should go check up on Zukuto..." Merodi said.
"But you're injured. You should stay here." Kaori said.
"If I stay here, I'm dead. I'm going to go check on Zukuto." Merodi demanded. They got up and ran back to the Chimatsu Pub.
((OOC: *gigglesnicker* *stops* OMFG. I just remembered that Toroku was supposed to be training them as they traveled! >.>;; Well, pretend that he has been...^^; ))
"DAMNIT!" Toroku swore loudly as his team exited the Stone Village. The second village they visited to recruit genin for the Chuunin Exams.
And the second village to be escorted out of.
"Toroku-Sensei, does this mean we have to go after Gen?" Zinan asked nonchalantly, forgetting that his sensei didn't like talk of the ninja. Zinan quietly bit his lip after remembering this fact.
"Most likely..." Toroku replied with a heavy sigh, dismissing his pupil's slip of tongue. Zinan relaxed a little when Toroku didn't lash out at him.
"Well, if we're just going to be denied in every village we go to, wouldn't it just be easier to get it out of the way as soon as possible?" Sachi asked. Her brother shook his head.
"It's not that easy, Sachi," he explained. "Before I even suggest that I leave the three of you back at our own village and go after Gen myself, I know you'll protest. So, first off, the three of you aren't even close to being skilled enough to fight Gen and live, no matter how much training you've done on this trip. Second, we don't even know where Gen is at the moment." The three genin stared blankly at their sensei.
"What are you getting at, Sensei?" Jiro asked after a moment of silence.
"I'm suggesting that we return to the Cloud Village and train more. A lot more." The blank stares quickly lit up.
"You mean you're really gonna let us help you fight Gen??" Sachi squealed. She and her teammates were practically jumping with joy.
"Yes, I will let you join me, I suppose." Toroku sighed. "However, I can almost guarantee that this fight won't take place for quite some time." The young ninjas stopped for a second.
"What do you mean? How long will our training take?" Zinan asked.
"At least three months."
The three genin let their jaws hang open in disbelief.
"At least." Toroku emphasized.
"Oh, that's not fair, Sensei!" Sachi complained. Toroku shrugged.
"I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do about that," he apologized. "Unless the three of you are willing to push yourselves harder than you can possibly imagine." This last suggestion made their faces hang in despair. Seeing them like this, Toroku thought for a moment. Then an idea came to him.
"Actually, I think I know a way you can each get a better amount of training done within that time frame." he grinned slyly. The genin's faces lit up again.
"How??" Jiro asked enthusiastically. Toroku waggled his finger at them.
"Nope. I won't tell you until we get back home. And I make sure it will actually work." he told them. Sachi picked up her bag quickly.
"Then what are we waiting for?! Let's go home!!"
With a quick agreement, Squad Nine was on their way back home.
((OOC: Muahaha, this will be fun! But it will require my characters not meeting up with yours for a while. So, if we could postpone the Gen fight for a while, that'd be great? :3))
((ok picking up where stu left off...Zukuto's darkside revealed...lol))
Kaori ran back to the pub holding Merodi over her shoulder. They ran akwardly back and when they reached the building they saw it was oddly quiet. Doors hung on twisted and warped hinges, glass was broken with bodies lying on the ground a few yards away. They heard a shuffle from inside and a crunching of glass. Kaori released Merodi and drew five needles from within her sleeve.
"Stay here," she cautioned. "I'll go in first."
Kaori turned toward the crooked door and pushed it slightly. The door creaked inward and crumbled to the ground. She followed the door to the ground and then looked up into the pub.
She gasped at the sight.
Littering the pub were broken glass, splintered wood, entire sections of ceiling and walls lay everywhere. But that's not what shocked her. The bodies intermingled with the wreckage caused her to stumble back. The pub was an absolute disaster. And standing in the center, breathing heavily and glowing a slight blue, stood Zukuto, his clothing ripped and shreded. He didn't aknowledge their presence when Kaori opened the door and just stood by himself hunched over slightly. Kaori watched his shoulders rise and fall with his deep breaths untill he stopped and faced her and Merodi. Merodi and Kaori stepped back a ways.
In his eyes was pure hate.
Kaori and Merodi had known Zukuto to be a happy guy, a caring guy, but in him now was pure malicious hatred. Zukuto gulped back anther breath as a bead of sweat trickled down his face.
"I wish you didn't have to see this," Zukuto said darkly, a bitterness to his tone.
"What happened?" Merodi asked surveying the damage.
Zukuto closed his eyes to calm himself and stood upright once more. He opened his eyes and gone was the anger they had seen before. Now his eyes were full of exhaustion. He was about to speak until he noticed Merodi's gash. He immediatly ran to her side and pulled her away to a chair.
"What happened?" he asked frantically. "Are you ok? Who did this to you?"
"Calm down Zukuto," Merodi consoled. "I'm...fine." With the final word she twinged in pain.
"I've got to close the wound," he said as he put his hands near the wound.
"Wha-" Kaori began as Zukuto made a powerful sign combination.
"Itonami Isou!" He shouted as a green band of chakra formed around his arms. The green energy snaked its way down his arms and to his hands that touched the wound. It filled the wound and it began to glow. Zukuto released the wound and slumped back. Kaori watched as the glowing green light brightened and slowly dimmed away. When the glowing stopped the wound was completely closed. Merodi felt her stomach and looked back at Zukuto.
"How?" she asked.
"Itonami Isou or Life Transfer," he said breathing hard again. "Let's just say for a while I wont be the only one with impervious skin around here."
And with that Zukuto leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes. Kaori and Merodi looked around the pub one last time and thought, who is this person we travel with and what is he capable of?
((LAME! i kno...but im introducing my background in next post))
It was a long three days before Squad Nine reached their home-- Kumogakure, the Village Hidden in the Clouds. Once welcomed into the main gates of the village, Toroku streatched and grinned happily.
"Aah, it feels so great to be home!" he said with a cheery tone. But before his exhausted pupils could respond, he quickly added: "But let's get right to business. We need to get you three into training as soon as possible."
"About that, Toroku-Sensei," Zinan began. "What exactly is our training?"
"Yeah, you said you had something special in mind for us," Sachi added. Toroku's sly smile found it's way to his face again.
"That's just what I was about to show you."
~~~
"Ah! Toro-kun! Welcome home!"
After dropping off their packs at their respective houses, Toroku had led his genin to an unfamiliar house. After knocking on the door, a young woman, about the same age as their sensei, with medium-length reddish-brown hair answered the door. She looked surprised to see the taller blond man with three genin at her door. When she had greeted him, the woman promptly gave him a hug.
"Come in!" she offered, and gestured for them to come inside.
"Long time no see, eh Haru-chan?" Toroku asked her, with a semi-seductive expression on his face. Sachi took note of this; did her brother always act like that to the girls?
"I know! It's been almost a year and a half now. But I heard you went on a mission out of the village." She glanced over at the three young ninja. "Oh, I'm sorry. Is this your squad?"
"It is. This is Sachi, my little sister, Zinan, and Jiro." Toroku introduced. They all bowed, and the woman smiled. "And this is my old team mate, Ebina Harumi."
"It's nice to meet you all," Harumi said. She turned back to Toroku. "So, your mission was to travel to each village and invite them to the chuunin exams...but that should have taken much longer than the time you were gone. Why are you back so early?"
Sachi noticed the look on her brother's face had instantly gone from seductive to serious.
"It's Gen," he said simply. Apparently, this was enough information for Harumi, for her face lit up in a state of shock and horror.
"Gen has...returned?" Harumi managed after a moment. Toroku shook his head.
"Not to Kumogakure, but he's out there, killing again."
Harumi stared at Toroku for a few moments, the two of them having a conversation with their eyes, as they recalled the past events that occured because of their old team mate. Finally, Harumi spoke.
"What are we going to do? Do you have a plan, Toroku?"
"I do."
There was that grin again.
~~~
"WHA---T?!" the three genin and Harumi exclaimed in unison. Toroku sat back in his seat and sipped green tea, satisfied with his plan. The others weren't so much upset about his plan as they were shocked about it.
"Are you serious, Sensei??" Sachi asked loudly, standing up. She seemed excited.
"Mm-hmm." was Toroku's response as he placed the cup of hickory-smoked horse buttholes tea on the table. "It's the only way I can think of to get you three's training in to the right amount before we go into battle."
"You seriously plan on splitting us up??" Jiro asked in a flustered fasion.
"How do you plan on training them that way?" Harumi asked. Toroku grinned.
"Besides splitting the three of you up for your training, I planned on training one of them myself, and sending the other two off with my old team mates. Both of which, lucky for me, don't have squads yet." Toroku explained with a smug expression. Zinan shot his sensei a confused look.
"But Toroku-Sensei, I thought we were out to kill your other team mate..." he asked.
"When our sensei was killed by Gen, we were still pretty young, only about a year into our training as genin. And when Gen fled, our sensei and Gen were immediately replaced." Toroku explained. A moment of silence passed as they mulled the information over in their minds.
"So then, who's going with who?" Harumi asked. Toroku stood.
"We shall discuss that now," he told her, and they went into the other room. Sachi, Zinan and Jiro sat there for a moment, thinking about how different their training would be from everyone else's, and if it would work or not.
~~~
About half an hour had passed before Toroku and Harumi finally returned from their discussion. Immediately upon their return, the three young ninja stood, desperately awaiting the new information that would decide their futures.
"Okay, we have decided which of you will be trained by who," Toroku told them.
"Cut the crap, Toroku-Sensei, and tell us!" Sachi screamed. Toroku nodded, and eased his sister's temper with a gesture of his hands.
"Jiro will train with me," he said. "Sachi will train with Harumi, and Zinan will be trained by our other team member."
With a look of determination in their eyes, the three genin ninja accepted their new senseis and prepared for a long three months of hard work.
((OOC: DAYUM that was longer than intended! And I also had a 'welcome back, Toroku!' party planned to throw in there, but I guess that can be next time. AND THERE WILL BE BOOZE!!))

(WOT!?! I'M POSTING HERE!? yeah, I just have to find a way to reinstate myself here with the absence of the only person I was involved with in this thread...-.- I've totally revamped my character so he'll be a little different from the first version if that’s ok with everyone.)
Tashi growled in frustration. It had been two nights after he settled in the village with his new group and didn't like it. He wasn't learning anything real useful in accordance to his fighting tactics. He felt that he was being wasted here, that his skills could be better used than sparing with the village ninjas and listening to lessons that reminded him so very much like home. That was the real reason he had to get out. Every lecture and every lesson brought memories of home and the loss he suffered there.
In the moment of having these memories flush over him once more Tashi lashed out and slammed his fist on the table then winced. It was these moments of weakness that wouldn't let him surpass his weaknesses and become a better fighter. Standing up suddenly he made for the door. It was night so he was practically invisible in his dark garb. Pulling his mask up over his face Tashi melted away into the darkness like only one trained in stealth and subterfuge could do.
He moved swiftly by day and even swifter by night, not exactly knowing where he was going but leaving the other village and those he met behind. He was heading north north-east and soon he crossed the border to the country of sound, and still he pressed on. He had been following a sense of direction for the past week now, planning to find his way to the cloud village. The techniques of their ninja were more akin to him and he thought it held promise. All he needed to do was get there.
It was a decidedly more difficult task alone than with someone who had been there already, but Tashi eventually found the outskirts of the village. At night he made his way in and for the first time in months, hid away his headband. Naturally by his style of fighting he would be tied to his village but he wanted to establish ties in the city before that happened. He wanted allies before he would be judged as a descendant of one of the more underhanded of villages.
Not wanting to draw suspicion he didn't go in looking for a place to stay but instead to map the place out for its strengths ad weaknesses. Who he could become allies with and who to avoid. He came to one house that still had lights on inside and tried to listen in on conversations to see if these people could help him. He could not hear anything of importance and most of the conversation was muffled. He did make out two names, and he figured them to be the people talking. Harumi and Toroku. Toroku had apparently gotten into the village a week before and had been setting up training for his gennin.
While this information was valuable to Tashi, mainly because he had the opportunity to ally with a ninja, he couldn't find a way to get into the village without arousing suspicion. He decided that it was time to leave when a cat came out of nowhere and started mewing at him. He tried to shoo it away but the cat became more insistent, almost screaming at him for attention. Naturally the cat was causing quite a raucous right outside the door of at least one ninja not a novice to his skills. Tashi, now quite understandably concerned for his safety, tried to get away before he was found.
Picking up the cat and launching it away from him the ninja went into a crouch and started to rush away from the house, right as the door opened to bathe him in light. On top of that Toroku stood in the doorway ready to launch an assortment of shuriken at him. Thinking quickly and knowing that this man was probably out of his league Tashi raised his hands in a show of peace. "It's not what it looks like, I'm not here for a fight!" he quickly exclaimed as the other ninja cocked his arm back to throw.
"Let me explain," he said in a more quiet tone as he stood up straighter, his arms drooping a little bit. When it looked like Toroku was not going to kill him Tashi continued, explaining the past couple weeks of his life and how he came to be here. He mentioned nothing about his past however, not trusting these people nearly enough with information so personal to him.
(Ok so I found a way to insinuate myself into the story line. If anything in here needs to be removed/changed let me know and I'll get on it. I just needed a way into the thread. Tashi's profile is different from the first by a few major things so if you want to know his current personality/background, check out his profile but know that no one can include such things until he makes it known in the thread.)
