Check it out. Yes, IT. Because I haven't given it a name or gender yet. So folks! My parents got me a car! *happydance* Ain't it purty? A little too blue perhaps, and also not a jeep, but who cares! Its a car! And a brand new one at that! Yep, it's sitting in my drive way right now, collecting countryside dust. So it might not be clean when most of ya'll see it 2morro. Anywho, it's a two-door, but it seats five (and has more space than ya think) so theres room for peeps to come reek havoc around town with me. FINALLY! I can have presets on the radio and not have my sister mess with them the minute I leave the drivers seat. The folks got her a car too. Same model, only red. I had the choice between red or blue, and red seemed more likely to get me a ticket... so I went with blue. Ahaha, the sis is a sucker... and a lead foot, gotta love it. *hugs teh car*

During a brief time in the 1930s Tolkien had a car for a short time. His car was a 1930s Morris Cowley. Tolkien was a erratic driver at best and had a series of minor accidents but it was enough to convinced his wife Edith she would be safer using the public transit and most of the time, she refused to get into the car when Tolkien was driving. Most frightening was his habit of ignoring traffic signals and crossing a main road simply heading for a side street without looking and yelling “Charge’em and they scatter!” From Tolkien a Biography by Michael White
Does this sound like someone we know who ignores road signs?
Cute car. Congrats Bess, good on ya!

XD I love how your parents by you a new car and you still manage to complain about it in some way! But it's very nice. I'm not old enough to drive....let alone afford gas these days, but oh well. Drive like Tolkien, and I shall forbid you from visiting Canada!!

...Complaining?! I like the car! Am I not allowed to comment about the color? Or my own personal car preference? Sheesh! And actually I feel really bad about them buying it for me... I mean seriously... I didn't ask them, but I went online and found out the price for these things... 15 GRAND! How the hell did my folks get the money to pay for this thing, let alone two!? In fact I'm pretty sure they don't have that kinda money... so yea, feeling kinda weird about it. And not old enough to drive? Lol, your turn's coming Alex. Look at it this way, once you can drive you can get a job to pay for gas. But hey, I don't know your neighborhood, so depending on where you live, you can probably get a job without buying a car. Not so in my case. Getting a car down here is parent code for "GET A JOB!" *cougherbiscough* ...forbid me from visiting Canada? Wow... that hurts. LOL, will have to head up north and drag race with the locals teens . Sleek and smexy little blue thing thinks its bigger than it is! ;D

Good gawd! 15 grand! How does one afford 2 of those? *Relishes the thought of having 30 grand* I need a job, but the idea of working repels me. Is it so bad that I just don't want to work? I mean, I never hear the end of my parents saying, "You should get a job." or "There's an opening at this place!" or "If you want more money, than get a job!" >.< And I get that from my friends too! I don't care if half the people I know work, I DON'T WANT TO GET A JOB!! Here's the deal. You're not allowed to accidentally put the lives of Canada's people in jeporady, but the teens... go ahead. I hate most of 'em so a few going down the drain wouldn't hurt (there are too many anyways). Let's just hope your little blue streak isn't caught.
