YES, AMAZINGLY I HAVE WRITTEN FENDOM! WHOOO!
Also, don't read this unless you have either read both Imaginary and Illusory, or never plan on reading them and just need something to do in your spare time.

As Silver announced the graduating class of the year 2005, Fenna let out a whoop of joy and flung her cap into the air along with the rest of her classmates. All together there were only twenty-three of them; which, though small, was a large number compared to last year’s class of fourteen. Her hat came back down; she caught it, and followed the wave of students out of the stands set out in the middle of the field. She would get to meet up with her parents a little while later; inside the school. Right now, she searched the crowd for any signs of her friends.
After a little searching, she found them; Tamsin and Gemma were Standing in the shade of a large tree; dressed nicely for the occasion - Tamsin all in black with a long twirly skirt, and Gemma in light colors, with a short lacy sundress. Bart and Dom, both in their gowns still, were standing there as well; Bart with an arm casually around Gemma’s waist, and Dom -
“Dammit, Tamsin, stop ruffling my hair!” He exclaimed, trying to escape the exuberant ruffling his hair was receiving. Tamsin looked as though she was about to say something to him, but spotted Fenna, and waved.
“Fenna!” Fenna walked over and was immediately hugged fiercely by the other girl. “I can’t believe you guys are all graduated! And Fenna, aren’t you leaving tonight?” Fenna nodded - she and her parents were flying back home for a massive graduation party being thrown for her and two of her cousins that were also graduating that year.
“Yeah.” She said, “It’s going to be strange, not seeing you guys...” She was going to add ‘again’, but decided not to; there would always be reunions. Still, if she thought too much about it, it made her vision fog and her throat close up; they were so much like her family it was awful to imagine leaving them. She smiled, “But I promise to call.” Tamsin grinned back and produced a camera.
“I can’t believe I nearly forgot - a picture of the graduates!” she waved Bart over. “Come on now, stand together.” Bart left Gemma’s side and placed a companionable arm around Fenna’s shoulders. Dom stood on Fenna’s other side. Tamsin lowered the camera.
“Come on now - you only have one graduation!” Dom, oddly, gave her a grin and copied Bart, sliding an arm around Fenna’s waist and leaning in so that all three of them would fit in the picture. Fenna could smell his cologne faintly; earthy and simple, and also the underlying smell of freshly cut grass and soap, which was uniquely Dom. She realized belatedly that Tamsin was counting down, and smiled at the camera.
Click.
They untangled themselves and Gemma reached out and took Bart’s hand.
“We should probably head back in- your parents will be wanting to see you.” Tamsin nodded.
“Yes, parents, and you lot be sociable! You may not see these people again for a while!” She linked arms with Gemma and the three began to make their way towards the building. Fenna picked up her cap from where she had placed it on the ground for the picture and began to walk after them. Dom walked with her, unzipping his gown in the process.
“You should leave that on,” Fenna said, “There will probably be more pictures inside.” He shrugged, and slid the gown from his shoulders in the process.
“I can always put it back on. Besides, it’s too hot for another layer of clothes.” Fenna had to agree with him there, but she didn’t want to remove her gown just yet. They walked in silence for a while, as Gemma Tamsin and Bart seemed to move farther and farther from them, their happy momentum carrying them quickly towards Nosferatu. Fenna was in no rush though; she would be leaving soon anyway. Dom cleared his throat.
“So you’re going tonight?” she nodded.
“Probably not very long after we get back inside.” She admitted. Her parents were in something of a rush as the other party was tonight; there had been some miscommunication when it came to dates and times. He nodded, and slowed his pace, and she did the same, matching his.
“Well, look,” He said suddenly, “I know we haven’t always been on good terms, exactly...”
“...like that time we were locked in a barn for fighting?”
“Right. And I haven’t always been very nice to you...”
“Like the time you said I wasn’t your friend.”
“Er, sure. But I mean, even though I’m sort of ...snarky...”
“Like the time when-”
“Fenna.”
“Sorry.”
“Anyway, I guess I’m going to kind of...miss you.” He said, slowly, as though it almost physically hurt him to get the words out. She smiled. “I mean, I’m going to miss Bart too of course.” He added hastily, “But I didn’t want you to go away thinking I hated you or something.” Fenna stopped and turned to him.
“Thank you.” She said simply. “I sort of did think that... well that you wouldn’t care if I was gone.” She looked at the ground for a moment, before looking up and meeting his gaze evenly. “And I’m going to miss you, too.” He looked back at her for a moment, and her pulse quickened slightly and she could feel heat rising to her face. But then he turned and began to walk again, and after a second or two, she did as well.
“But this doesn’t mean that I like you or anything,” He said, “I just don’t hate you.” She laughed, and tossed her hat again, catching it when it fell back down.
“I understand; and I don’t hate you too.”
