Arkell Baxter Trull Skeffington III walked around his flower filled courtyard. As he looked at the flowers in the darkness of night, with only the moon to light his view, he thought about his life. He was an extremely rich and powerful soon-to-be politician, though it was against his will. He hated the politicians, including his father, and wished they could realize there was more to life than them. Every politician he knew, was selfish and didnt care about the good of the Vampires, Humans, Werewolves, and Elves.
Ark, his nickname, felt a bit hungry, and knew it was time for the feeding. His lust grew out of control, as he dashed to his room. He was extremely fast yet not very powerful, being that he was a vampire. He found a cup of water, and swallowed a dark red pill. He felt relieved, now that he had taken his blood pill.
As he ventured back to the courtyard, he grabbed his specially made short sword, named Gaia, which was made out of a secret inner earth material not able to be shattered by gun shots. He concealed it under his long, dark red mantle, which hung over the left side of his body.
Upon reaching the courtyard, the wind blew through his long, flowy hair. His hair was lucious brown, and his bangs covered the entire right half of his face. His life in the city of Eldebleaf was very boring, and very prescheduled. He knew his own job when he grew up in 4 more years. He owuld become a politician at the age of 22, for he was smart for a vampire.
The Vampire race was well known for their speed and nimbleness, but not very high recognition for having muscle mass. They were very weak, so they mainly resorted to their speed and jumping skills to save themselves. They mainly fought with light weapons, such as anything form daggers and short swords, to whips. Vampires were not the smartest race, but they were close up there. They fell second only to the Elves.
As Ark travelled back inside, he decided it was time for bed. He had to go to school tomorrow, and he would hang out with his friends. Though he wasn't the most accepted kid in school, he did have some friends.

On a rooftop of a large building crouched Bastian Anniento, a sillouhette in front of the bright full moon. He sat with his long black hair flowing in the breeze and his eyes closed as if in deep concentration. His black coat flowed in the wind making the only sound in the silent night. His dark legs seemed to dissapear in the shadow of the buildings darkside with his dark pants on.
He clenched his fists and gritted his teeth and groaned in pain. His Canine's lengthened at a rapid rate and his body slowly began to expand. His fists unclenched revealing bloody hands with long black claws growing from his fingertips. He growled low as his voice took on a feral tone. He ripped off his cloak and threw it too the ground as his body's muscles grew. His bones cracked and reshaped themselves and with each crack Bastian would howl. His upper body sprouted brown black hair that lengthened by the second. His jaw cracked and unhinged itself to expand and grow revealing rows of razor sharp teeth. His pants shredded until he appeared to be wearing only frayed shorts. With this final transformation complete Bastian's eyes shot open revealing glowing hot yellow eyes.
He threw back his great head and bellowed into the night. Satisfied with his call he jumped from the roof and down to the street below.
((short and sweet...i hope)))

Ark awoke with a strange feeling. he recognized instantly that bastian was at it again. He grabbed a seringe, filled with a blue liquid.
Ark jumped out of his window and into a tree. A couple houses away, he saw Bastian in his werewolf form, rampantly running around. Ark nimbly jumped from roof to roof as he ready the quick and hastey trick to bring Bastian back to his normal form.
It was dangerous, but it had to be done. FOr as long as he had known Bastian, he had always had to do this. if he messed up though, he would probably die.
As he dashed pass Bastian, he quickly injected the seringe into his neck. Batian collapsed, and slowly transformed back into. Ark tried to carry Bastian back to his house, but being a vampire, he had very little muscle.
He rolled Bastian back to his house, then he went home and slept.
He went to school, and met up with Bastian.
"Sorry about last night." Bastian apologized.
"It's fine. It happens every once in a while. how do you remember?" Ark asked.
"I don't. But i found myself in a different area than i went to sleep in, so i figured it happened." Bastian replied.
"Hm... I wonder when Olivia is going to come here." Ark said.

Viktor Esrenvi walked throught the halls of the school. He waslked with a pristine grace lacking of the humans around him. His qualities as an elf also set him apart from the humans in the way that the females would watch him pass by almost everywhere he went. At first it was sort of nice, then he got a little tiny bit annoyed, now he just didn't really care. He smiled at someone of them as he passed. These were the ones he'd had past encounters with and were sort of what you'd call friends. They'd always wave and sometimes call his name. They'd always react the same. They'd giggle, blush, and turn to their friends. It sort of ammused him how none of the humans suspected anything about him. Other than being surprisingly attractive, they assumed he was one of their own. Had it not been for his long, flowing, dirty blonde hair that covered his pointer ears, they might have suspected something was up.
He strode on towards his first class of the day. Mathematics. Not his favorite subject, but he could do it very well. Infact, he did well in every class at his school. The elves were wise and inteligent, and he was no exception.
"Good morning students," the young, female teacher announced, "first I'll take roll and then we'll begin with..." Viktor lost interest. He had his thoughts elsewhere. For some time now he'd been sensing something out of place in this area. It troubled him more that his senses detected it nearest when at school. He'd have to figure out what, or who it was later.
"Viktor?" The teacher had gotten to the E's and looked for his response. He gracefully raised his right arm, his head resting on his left. His face still deep in thought.
No, he'd have to wait to find out what was going on around here. Today was one of those few days were he actually minded school. He could not wait till break and lunch to ponder his own personal thoughts.

Olivia Arcamenal walked hastily into the large building that served as a schoolhouse. She supposed it had once been a manor; it certainly looked like one until you got inside; all gothic achitecture and slightly overgrown gardens. She had ben running late this morning; another late night had caused her to oversleep.
Olivia was an elf; and not only an elf, but a sorceress. Elves were the magic-users in the world, and so this sort thing was not in the least unusual, although most elves were witches or wizards rather than sorcerers. There wasn't much difference between the two except the power source; witches came by their powers naturally; they didn't have to do very much in the way of learning to cast a spell. Sorcerers, however, were much more complicated and therefore had to study hard and memorize cantips to perform magic. They fought for everything the got, but in the end they were more powerful than the average witch or wizard.
Thus her late nights; she was generally up later than any sane person should be - excepting vampires, who seemed not to need much sleep at all. She crossed the courtyard yawning, and rubbng her temple, which had been resting on the corner of a book all night; she had fallen asleep at her desk again. The wind caught her curly auburn hair, trailing it after her like a banner, as she checked her pocket watch.
She pushed open the double doors to the school, and entered, braiding her hair as she went and trying to remember if what she was wearing was clean or not. She finally decided it must be -her house was filled with servants who had nothing better to do all day than wash things- and hurried into the hall where students convened before and after class. She stood in the doorway a moment - suppressing a yawn - as she searched for Ark and Bastian, who were standing in a far corner of the room, as usual. She ignored the few appreciative looks shot her way by a group of boys a year or so younger than herself; humans, she saw. Being an elf, she was uncommonly pretty by human standards, and was often pursued by human boys. Though humans as a whole were often contemptuous or vampires and werewolves, the general attitude towards elves was something more like awe, or even, as she caught from the boys' glances, lust. It was vaguely annoying being stared at wherever she went, which was one reason why elves tended to spend time with members of their own race.
Probably talking in whispers as well, she thought, shaking her head slightly. Those two were always secretive. She suddenly remembered that last night had been a full moon. She walked over to them and leaned against the wall.
"Full moon last night," she commented, "Was everything all right?" The two boys exchanged glanced, and nodded.
"I got everything under control." Ark said, "As always."
"Good." Olivia said, rifling through her bag for her work, and found it right away - completed, correct, and neat, as always. She smoothed it out anyway, and glanced at her watch again.
"Let em guess; you were up late again." Bastian said. Olivia nodded. "You always get like this when you're exhausted." By 'like this' he meant her tendancy to be to-the-point and completely obsessive about small things like the neatness of her homework, or the unruliness of her hair. Not that she wasn't like this all the time - she was constantly being told to lighten up by her peers - but when she was tired it became an auto-pilot she relied on.
"I'll sleep during composition," She replied, "As I've accidentally done all the work for the week." Overhead, an enormous bell pealed once, letting the students know they were expected in class. Olivia, Ark, and Bastian filed into their first class of the day along with everyone else in their age group.
~
Since all students were in class, they missed the lone creature that walked into the courtyard of the massive building; it didn't walk so much as scamper, and it did that frighteningly fast.
It was a zombie; an undead creature with very little in the way of rational thought. But what it lacked in brains it more than made up for in speed and agility and strength. Only just now it was hungry, and so it lay in wait in a cluster of bushes near the steps. The first students to exit the building were in for quite a nasty surprise.

Arkell, Bastian, and Olivia went to sit down for lunch now. They sat on one side of the table relaxing. Three human boys, well known for their racist bullying, sat on the other side of the table.
"You stupid freaks. You don't deserve to live on this world. We should be the only rulers." One said.
"We are a lot better than you freakshows are!" said the second one.
Ark glanced at Bastian, then at Olivia. he then slowly turned his head toward the three humans, and opened his mouth, revealing fangs. "You guys have nothing! I can jump and run faster than you three could combined." Ark bragged.
"You guys are so stupid if you think you can out power me in strength. I could snap your bones like twigs!" Bastian said as he slammed his hand on the table and put a huge crack in it.
Olivia snapped her fingers and a flame appeared. She then lit one of the boys' lunch bags on fire. "I have magic. I wanna see you light something on fire." she said she snapped her fingers again making another flame. The boys ran in fear.
The bell for lunch to end rang, and they returned to their classrooms.
~
Inside of a big, far away castle, sat a Warlock. He called to his servant to bring him more Thistle.
"Yes Mi'lord." she replied as she scurried out of the room.
His name was Reginald Armstrong. He was a very powerful Elvish Warlock, set out on conquering the world. He had mastered a very hard and forbidden type of elvish magic, Necromancy. He knew he could take over the world if he used the power of necromancy to make an army of powered up undead creatures. his pot and his crystal ball sat in front of his throne, and he needed a little bit more Thistle to complete his undead rising spell. He had tested a smaller version of the magical spell, and created a lone zombie. He knew the magic would work.
His servant returned with the thistle he asked for. As she handed it to him, he pushed her away. With her long flowing brown hair covering her face upon impact with the ground, she looked up at him. Only her Vampirish fangs were visible through the hair.
"Close your mouth and get out of here, before I slap the living hell out of you, wench!" Reginald shouted as he raised his hand.
"Y-Yes Mi'lord." She said as she scurried out once again.
"You alright, Mimi?" someone called out to her.
"Yes. I'm fine. Just a little angry." she replied. A figure stepped out of the shadow, revealing another lady. She was a human named Jennifer.
"Good. I wish we could escape from here, but he'd kill us if we did." Jennifer said.
"It's safer in here, than out there. he is releasing a mass zombie attack on gthe outside world..." Mimi said as she glanced down, "How can i meet my Prince Charming if everyone in the world is dead?..."
~
Ark loved to be the first one out of the school. Something about the rush made him feel happy. As he prepared to run out, the bell rang, causing him to dash ahead of everyone.
As he opened the door, he felt something tackle him.
"What the hell?! Get off!" he screamed as he kicked the thing off. he glanced and saw it wasn't a normal human. Or for that matter, a normal anything. The skin was peeling as if it was dead or something. It then clicked into his mind: Zombie.
More and more people flowed out of the school, only to freeze as they saw a zombie moving around attacking people.
Bastian and Olivia joined Ark, who now had his short sword, Gaia, drawn, and was messing with the zombie. He didn't know where to strike the zombie to kill it. It was already dead. He finally realized to stab it through the head, but it was too late. The zombie fled, and bit someone else, who brutally turned into a zombie as well. The seed had planted, and there was nothing they could do.
Followed by that, a great ray of blue passed everyone, and dead bodies appeared everywhere. Not only could zombies be created form the living, but more of the past dead ones were living. Every grave was ripped open, as more and more zombies appeared.
They would have a killing spree now. To kill all of the livin

"Bastian," Olivia began.
"I know I see 'em," he said.
"How did this happen," Ark asked.
"I don't know," Bastian admitted. "I thought I smelled something funny on our way to class."
The Zombies grouped up and made their way toward the three students. The moaned and raised there hands as if trying to coax them to come to them.
"I think now would be a good time to lose control Bastian," Ark said as he sliced another Zombie away from them.
Bastian nodded and hunched over. The back of his coat ripped and shredded as he changed. He grew until he had taken on the full form of a werewolf. He now stood a whole head and shoulders taller than Ark.He growled at the coming Zombies and bared his white teeth. He glared at them with yellow eyes that showed only uncontained rage. He looked to Ark and Olivia to his sides and they both nodded to him.
"Sick 'em," Olivia said with a smirk.
He howled and ran headlong into the group of Zombies. He opened both hands and claws shot out of each finger. He swiped at two of them with his right hand and they split in the middle and fell to the floor. He turned and straight-armed three more behind him and sunk his teeth into another one in front of him. He lifted the Zombie up in his Jaws and hurled him against a far wall.
Below him a Zombie's torso (ew) crawled over to his leg trying desparatly to get at his flesh. Bastian kicked up his leg and delivered a crushing stomp to the Zombies skull to the cement ground. He threw his arms out in defiance in front of Ark and Olivia challanging more to come his way. The growing number of Zombies quickly moved toward the group until they had all blocked the main exit behind them.
Ark stepped up next to Bastian, sword at the ready. Then to the right Olivia stepped up and held up a book in front of her. She chanted something in an ethereal voice at the surrounding Zombies.

Viktor ran through the halls. Everyone was heading deeper into the building. Except for him. He was swiftly running and dodging through the histerical crowd of humans. He had known something was fucked up not right. Now he would find out what.
He found out all too soon. Up a head was the end of the franitc crowd. A zombie was charging his way. It hadn't targeted him, however. It was chasing one of his acquaintances.
"Cassandra, get down!" Viktor called to her.
She complied. She ducked down and continued running. Viktor stopped running, outstretched his right hand, opening his palm loosely. Arcaic words softly flew from his lips and blast of energ was porjected at the abomination. The mishappen vanished on contact.
Cassandra ran up to Viktor who caught her and embraced her.
"It's all right, Cassandra," he began, gently, "Run along now. Get to safety." She looked up out of his chest and into his face. She had a terrified look on her face. Despite the chaos, Viktor was able to smile. His comforting words and actions aloud her enough sanity to continue on her way.
Now that the rogue undead had been dealt with, he wanted to find the source. Viktor looked toward the entrance about fifty yards away. That's how the zombie must had come in. He could see and hear the chaos taking place outside.
Viktor scowled. He began to run toward the large doorway. As he got closer he noticed things were calming down up ahead. He kept on anyway. He finally reached the door and stepped out.

Damn, damn, damn, Olivia thought frantically, thumbing through the book. Why couldn't I just have been a wizard? I could have all of this without the book. She retreated backwards a few steps, safely behind Ark and Bastian; they understood and moved in front of her; unlike them, she needed time to think; she was only a student and hadn't learned many offensive spells yet.
Wait... offensive - I know plenty of defensive spells! She turned and climbed on top of the edge of the stairs that led up to the doorway of the school; it was a precarious position; if she fell she'd shortly find herself up to her neck in zombies. As it was, several of the ones on the ground sniffed the air, and eyed her.
She snapped her book shut and shouted several guttural words, sending a light yellow mist falling on the zombies. Immediately, they began moving at half their original speed, making them much easier for the two boys to kill. She sighed, feeling a tug on her inner reserves of energy, and crouched down behind the small wall, leafing through the book until she found a spell that allowed her to shoot magical missile-like objects. She read the cantrip several times, and then stood up and got back on the small stone area. With this spell, all she had to do was sight on a zombie and say the spell, and it would be hit by her missile.
She focused first on the ones swarming Ark and Bastian, feeling her energy deplete a little with every zombie she killed. Every once and a while she would turn her attention to the ones swarming the wall she was standing on, just to keep them at bay. Eventually though, she wore down slightly, and leaned against the brick wall at her back for support. She took a deep breath, and stepped forward again, intending to hit more of the zombies attacking her friends; as she did so, however, a chunk of the old stone beneath her feet crumbled, leaving her to step into midair.
She was balanced for a moment, waving her arms wildly, before she toppled downwards into the open.
She shrieked, out of reflex almost, and hit the ground and rolled. This area only had a small population of zombies, which sniffed the air and dove towards her as she landed. She took a deep breath and shouted two short words, closing her eyes in concentration as she did so.
A moment later, Olivia opened her eyes, to see herself encased in a shimmering blue orb. It had worked. This spell would keep out anything of evil intent; it had cost her though. She collapsed onto the ground, gasping for air. She would be perfectly safe as long as the spell held, which was indefinitely as long as she didn't somehow become unconscious. She scooted into the corner of the building, breathing slowly; the zombies couldn't get her, for the moment, but it meant that she was tapped out, and would have to wait until either her energies renewed themselves or the zombies were all dead.
She tucked her knees up to her chest, and settled in to wait, hating the feeling of uselessness that plagued her.

Ark looked over at Olivia worriedly. He could see she was troubled. Quickly eluding all the zombies, he made his way through the maze, killing zombies in the process. He made his way into her magic bubble and sat next to her, comforting her as she was feeling bad.
He thought about how Olivia and he had been friends since they were born. Their moms would always get together and hang out, leaving them to play with each other, until they became inseparable friends. Even after they met Bastian, at the ages of 8, they still were close friends.
He remembered when Olivia and he had first started trying to learn their races specialties. Olivia used to carry around a book, large to them when she first started reading it, as he carried around a small dagger, and how he would carry her book for her when it got too heavy for her. Even though he was a weak vampire.
He came back to, as Olivia finally said she felt better now that he was there. He stood back up and redrew his sword. He jumped out of the barrier, until he hit the ceiling, then pushed off of the ceiling into a big group of zombies. One by one they were slashed open.
"Theres too many of 'em, Ark. We need to get out of here!" Bastian called.
"We need to wait for Olivia! She isn't ready yet!" Ark replied, "Keep killing them."
"We can't! We need to go NOW!" Bastian argued back.
"Fine fine. If you will, Bastian, please pile drive through them while I grab Olivia." Ark said as he jumped back into the magical barrier. He picked Olivia up in his arms as Bastian thrashed through the undead fiends.
Upon reaching a more open area, Ark put Olivia back down. They sat in the grass, pondering their next course of action. One by one, more zombies started filling up the area. Ark and Bastian attacked the zombies, but more were piling in. They had to flee again.
"Come on!" Bastian said as he grabbed Olivia and Ark.
"Put me down NOW, Bastian. You know I hate being carried! I say, put me down this instant!" Ark complained.
"As you wish," Bastian said as he dropped Ark in front of two zombies.
"Thank you," Ark said as he quickly slashed the two zombies heads off. He continued sprinting, passing in front of Bastian and Olivia.
"I- I think I can run too now, Bastian. Thank you for carrying me though," Olivia said as she started to crawl down.
"Not a problem," Bastian said as he put her down too. They continued to run further and further from the school.
"My house is closest to this place, let's stop by there." Ark said as he turned a corner, "We can think things out there."
As they entered his home, something did not feel right. Arkell's dad slowly made his way over to him, not looking very good.
"Ark... I... I think your dad may have been..." Olivia started to hint to Ark.
"This should be fun. I've wanted to do this for a while." Ark said with a grin, "This is for ruining my dreams!" He slashed at his dad, who nimbly dodged the attack, following up with an attack from his own sword. Arkell quickly blocked it, and followed up with a dagger into his zombified dad's head. The zombie dad dropped to the ground.
They continued on their way to Ark's room. When they got in, there was no sign of a zombie, so they quickly closed the windows and locked the doors.
"What are we going to do about this whole situation?" Bastian asked the other two.

((OOC: Damn you, Stu, for making it harder for Ben's and my plan for meeting up. Oh well, here we go...))
Viktor watched the three combatants take on the horde of undead fiends. He had decided to watch from the inside so he might go unnoticed.
He watched them fight off the zombies pretty effectively. He knew he'd sensed something about that particular Vampire and fellow elf. And a werewolf! He'd thought he'd never see one of those again.
The team outside had been collected by the werewolf and were running elsewhere.
"Here is my chance," Viktor said quietly to himself.
He nibley followed them from a small distance. They didn't go very far before turning into a house and proceeding inside. The werewolf had let them down sometime ago so they were all free to go in one by one. The wolf was in last. As he had made his approach to the house he'd slowly began to shift back into his original shape. Now he was a well-built young man with no clothes on except for torn pants. (Praise Elune 0.o)
When Viktor reached the now abandoned front door, he stopped. He waited a minute before proceeding. He peered inside the door which had been carelessly left partially open. He noted the slain undead lying on the ground.
Cautiously proceeding inside, Viktor heard muffled voices begin to speak coming from up stairs. He stealthaly followed the sound.
"What are we going to do about this whole situation?" The werewolf asked the other two.
Viktor crept up the stairs.
"I don't know," came the female elf's voice, "any ideas, Ark?"
"Hm, I'm just as confused with this dilema as anyone else," replied the vampire, aparently named Ark.
"Well," came the werewolfes deeper voice again, "we need to find out what the hell is causing this, and then snuff that."
"Who could have the power to do this?" The elf asked with a scared, worried tone.
"I can only think of one type of person," said the werewolf.
By now, Viktor was right at the door, marked ARKELL. He had opened slowly and softly.
"A necromancer," Viktor said.
"Exactly- Hey, who the hell are you!" The werewolf excalimed, he shifted to a defesnive position. Likewise, Arkell drew is blade.
"Viktor Esrenvi," he replied cooly, "and you are?"
"I am Bastian Anniento," the werewolf said, still uncertain about there surprise guest.
"Withdraw your sword, Vampire, I am not your enemy," Viktor said with slight malice as he glared at Arkell.
"And what is your name, might I ask," Viktor asked the fellow elf sweetly, he knelt down and gently carressed her hand.
"Oh, I-I'm Olivia Arcamenal," she said sort of shocked at his kind formalities.
"Olivia. What a beautiful name to fit a beautiful young elf such as yourself," Viktor then lightly then kissed her hand softly then stood and released her hand. She held her hand by her wrist and staring at the top of her hand where Viktor's lips had just left. Then she looked up to Viktor with a confused look on her face.
Viktor smiled back at the girl.
"We are kin, Olivia," Viktor said sweelty. This made Olivias face change to surprise.
"OH! He's an elf! I knew I sensed something about you!
Arkell was not impressed. Bastion just studied the scene quizically.
"I am not your enemy, friends," Viktor said to them all, "I witnessed your encounter with the enemy and followed you here so I could meet my comrades. Don't worry, I got in because the door was open. Don't worry, however, I closed it and put a magical barrier around this house."
"So that's what that was," Olivia said softly, trailing off into thought.
"What," asked Bastion.
"Oh, nothing. I felt a change in the magical aura of this place. But it didn't seem worth reporting. It was not a threat."
"Back to the task at hand," Viktor announced, "a necromancer, is not an easy being to deal with."
"How come you're so sure it's a necromancer," Ark asked, still not impressed.
"Necromancy is the only way of creating and compitent undead beings. And I think you know more than I do that those fiends today were certainly very compitent."
"So what can we do?" Asked Bastion.
"Nothing," this startled the other three, "right now anyway. Right now we need to look for whatever clues we can. Look back into history. There might be some information about a past menace that could be reborn, or something of the sort."
Viktor then took a seat and continued to colaborate with his new allies.
((Wow, longer than intened. Hope everyone likes it and they can write off of it.))

Ark didn't like that some random guy intruded into not only his house, but his room. That and he didn't care much for the kind acts toward Olivia and the semi-rude acts toward him. But he couldn't do anything about it himself. he would just have to go along.
"You, Viktor, you seem to know your information. Indeed very helpful, but allow me ask you this. Why should we trust you? We don't even know you, and here you are waltzing in as if we have been friends for a long time." Ark asked Viktor.
"Lay off him." Bastian commanded. He is on our side. That's all we need to worry about.
"Incorrect." Viktor interrupted, "I could indeed be a bad guy who is pretending to join you guys and then kill you. You never know. He has a right to be very alert. I can understand why he would feel this way after i bursted into his room and acted like this. but now isn't the time to worry about who trusts who. Now we need ot worry about THAT." Viktor said as he pointed out the window. In the view, a flood of zombies crawled the streets. they would eat anything alive, and tunr them into more undead creatures.
"Fine. I will trust you for now, but if you dare betray us, i will kill you faster than you can blink." Ark threatened.
"Agreed." Viktor said.
"Ok can we just get out of here and find those clues?" Bastian demanded.
"Yeah, I really think we should work as quickly as possible." Olivia spoke out.
"Ok, madam." Viktor said kindly.
Ark glared at him, but decided to blow it off. If Viktor didn't prove useful, he would probably kill him.
"We should split up. Olivia and I will go east, and you and Bastian go to the west. Ok Arkell?" Viktor said.
"No. Olivia and I will go east and you and Bastian can go west. For all we know, you could just be after raping her or something. She is coming with me. And also, please call me Ark. Ark is less... formal." Ark argued.
"Fine, whatever you want. Let's go Bastian." Viktor said as he and Bastian left through the door.
"Ok Olivia, are you ready to go yet? Or do you need some more resting time?" Ark asked.
"I... I think i need to go to sleep for a bit." Olivia said.
"Please, use my bed. I need to go eat real fast, and then I'll watch over you." Ark said as he quickly got a blood pill and some water. He swallowed it and motioned for her to go to sleep now. Arkell grabbed one of his novels and began reading it, looking around every so often to make sure everything was fine. he then gazed at Olivia. All the memories they shared flowed into his head. He remembered all the good and bad times they had. he was glad to have known her for all of his life.
2 hours later, she woke up. "I'm ready to go now Ark." she said.
"Ok then, let us leave to look for information." Ark said as they ran out of his room.

Bastion and Viktor walked on the sidewalk westward. Anytime a zombie approached them either Bastion would punch it away, or Viktor would just lift his arm, mumble an incantation and detonate the fiends head. Bastion was strong enough so that one hit would render the abomination useless. But every so often a blast would be needed to a zombie that still writhed after a blow from Bastion.
Other than the occaisonal zombie encounter, the two seemed to just be strolling along.
"I hope you, at least, can understand that my actions toward young miss Olivia were harmless," Viktor said.
*Zombie explodes*
"Yes," Bastion said understandingly, "I was ableto recognize that. You were just being respectful and happy to meet someone of your race."
*Zombie is punched to the ground*
"Indeed," Viktor confirmed, "except Master Arkell seemed to be less understanding."
*Another zombie is beat down, and then vaporized*
"Yes, Ark is very protective of Olivia. They are very close. They're families were good friends when they were very young, even though they are different races."
"It's nice to know there are still some accepting, kind-hearted people in this dreadful world."
"Mmm," Bastion agreed.
They continued on keep they're eyes and ears peeled and open.

"Back at the house I smelled a foreign smell," Bastian said as he kicked in the face of a Zombie. "I think it was you. Before we entered the house i warned everyone that a living being was approaching."
"But you were back in your human form then," Viktor said blasting a Zombie away with a bolt of energy.
"My Werewolf traits carry over into my human form. That's why I haven't changed now," he said as he beat down another Zombie in his path. "Just be glad I hadn't just gone and killed you on the spot, noithing can hide from me."
"Thanks," Viktor said quickly. He cast another bolt of energy at a Zombie and massaged his hand. "I'm running low on energy. I may need to stop soon."
"No worries," Bastian said. "We're almost to the place I want to investigate."
Viktor nodded and followed quickly after Bastian. They walked down a long street until a large manor came into view. It was an enormous building, larger than anyone could have any use for, that sat atop a hill overlooking the school yard they had come from earlier that day. Viktor squinted at the building.
"Some piece of work huh?" Viktor asked with a whistle.
"Yeah," Bastian said leading him to the main gates. The gates were padlocked with a lock that was as big as Bastian's Torso. The bars were as thick as cathedral pillars and the chains were thick, solid metal. Viktor looked around for any means to open it.
"It looks like we have to go back now. There's no way in," Viktor said in disapointment.
"No," Bastian said as he rolled his neck around, cracking it a few times.
"So how do you suppose we get in then?" Viktor said.
"Up," was Bastian's simple reply as he grabbed Viktor by the back of his belt and jumped up into the air. He landed on a rocky ledge a few feet up in the air and sprang off that ledge to another above him on the opposite wall. He repeated this until he reached the top of the gate and hopped onto the top of the stone wall. Bastian released Viktor's belt. Viktor pulled away and checked his belt.
"Hey," he exclaimed, "you could have ripped this belt! It's new!"
Bastian smirked and looked down into the courtyard leading to the manor. "I think we should be okay from here. I don't think what ever locked that door expected a werewolf to break in."
Viktor grinned and stepped to the edge of the wall. He cautiously peered over and saw the ground far below him.
"So," he started. "Good job getting up here. Now how do we get down?"
"Get creative," Bastian said as he jumped over the side ov the wall. Viktor ran to the edge. He saw Bastian hanging on the edge looking down. "See you down there," he said as he let go of the wall. His claws shot from his finger tips and he dug them into the stone wall as he slid down the wall. Viktor shook his head.
"He gets the fun way down," he said as he muttered a few words and stepped off the wall onto a floating blue circle of energy. He slowly descended down to the ground and hovered next to Bastian. Bastian looked up at Viktor with a toothy grin.
"I always loved that," he said removing his cloak and his shirt.
"What are you doing," Viktor asked as Bastian removed his pants revealing his black shorts underneath.
"I ruin so much clothes when I change I thought, why not just leave them here or something." Bastian threw his clothes into a small bush. "Besides, I like those pants."
Viktor chuckled as Bastian changed into his werewolf form. Viktor cringed at the snapping of bones but whenthe transformation was complete he looked down at Bastian.
"So where to now?" he asked pulling out a small spell book from his coat pocket.
"Inside," came the wolf's feral voice.
Bastian ran off toward the manor with Viktor hovering close behind him.

The manor was in front of a large hill. The sun setting behind it. It was very dim in the large front yard. It took Bastion and Viktor a few minutes to even reach the front.
When they finally arrived, they both stood and stared straight up in astonishment. This manor was gigantic. It loomed over them and streched out to the sides for many, many yards.
"Well," Viktor broke the silence, "let's get this over with." Bastion gave a ferel grunting, growling sort of noise, announcing his agreement and approval.
They walked up the large, cement steps to the door. It was a massive door. Bastion would be able to remain in werewolf form to enter with no problems at all. For the doors were rediculously huge.
Inside was totally dark. If they thought just outside the door was dark, this was isane.
"Being a werewolf, I can see well in the dark," Bastion said with his deep, ferrel voice, "here, hop on my back, I'll be our eyes."
"No, thank you," Viktor replied politely, "I have my own tricks..." He then muttered some ethreal words into the void. His eyes burst into a brilliant light-green glow.
The two took a look around the massive hall they stood in. There were an insane amount of doors and an equally impressive sized staircase.
"Well," Viktor began wtih uncertainty, "where to?"

Ark and Olivia wandered the eastern streets. It was the poor side of town, so there weren't very many big buildings. They were mostly one-story shacks about to fall over where they stood. Zombies would arise every once in a while, but Ark and Olivia could handle them with ease.
They continued to look for a specific building, where a lone man had stayed. He had been seen carrying a dead body earlier, and he also was suspected for being undercover for someone. They figured he may have something to do with the situation.
His name was Rick Delfud. He was a human politician who had recently been removed of his title and rank. Rumors said he went off to work for a rich man as a servant and then mysteriously came back with a dead body. He still had some powers and influences in power, so he was not questioned and arrested for his murder. That's how corrupt the government was in the city of Oscurita.
Ark and Olivia had finally reached the house they were looking for. As they tried to open the locked door, they heard a door close on the inside of the house. Ark was too weak to bust down the door, so Olivia would have to use magic to do it. She quickly flipped through her book, and found a magical blast that would easily remove the door. She quickly casted her spell and they continued into the house. Ark could see Rick was standing behind another door because of his shadow.
"What do you and your elfish fiend want from me? I can have you two slaughtered within minutes!" Rick called out.
Ark didn't like his racist thoughts, so he pierced his short sword through the door which stabbed through Rick's arm. Rick screamed in pain. "I don't like your racism. Please talk nicely to my elfish friend, and tell us everything you know about the zombies." Ark asked sternly.
Rick explained how Reginald Armstrong was behind the zombies and how he had stumbled into Necromancy. Rick had left in time before Reginald lost his mind, but was still working for him by bringing dead bodies into the town, hiding them in places for the zombie awakening so that the zombies could attack faster. Rick was about to take a secret passage back to Reginald's so he could have a hand in world power.
Ark, disgusted by what he heard, slew Rick when he was finished explaining by slashing open his chest. "Sick minded politicians," He said as he and Olivia started for the door. But he froze. He remembered the zombie spell, so Rick would come back to life. Ark turned around to see Rick standing up again. He instantly threw a knife into Rick's head, and continued on his way. He wondered what happened to his mother and his younger brother, Ephram. He hoped they were ok, as he and Olivia headed to the mansion.

"I smell something," came Bastian's gutteral reply. He sniffed the air and took off down the hall. Viktor hopped onto another energy circle and floated after him. They ran down the hallway and around the corner to a long walkway that lead to what appeared to be the outside garden. Bastian reached the door and peered outside.
"See anything?" Viktor asked wathcing the halls behind them.
"No," Bastian said with a grunt. "But that smell is still there."
Bastian walked outside and out into the court yard where a massive headstone sat surrounded by many flowers of all types. Bastian grabbed a handfull of flowers in his massive paw and sniffed them.
"They've put these here for some reason," Bastian said examining the flowers closely.
"Well, duh," Viktor said his eyes slowly dimming from the rediant green thay had been earlier. "Someone died here. They're obviously here to pay respects."
"Or to mask an oder," Bastian said as he crushed the flowers in his paw and grabbed the massive headstone on either side. He growled under the weight of the headstone but managed to lift it up from the ground and toss it to the side. Where it once stood was a large staircase leading down into the black underground.
A foul oder poured from the depths. Viktor held his nose and resisted the urge to vomit.
"What is that smell," he exclaimed.
"Death," Bastian said coldly and walked down the stairs.

Viktor reluctantly followed his bestial ally down into the depths of the labyrinth they'd stumbled across.
They came to the base of the stairs and looked into the darkness ahead. At the bottom of the short stair was a long corridor. It was not lit and Viktor had to renew his visual enhancement spell. It wasn't tall enough for Bastion to stand erect. Well, as erect as a half man, half wolf could stand. He normally slumped over a bit anyway. But now he had to a lot. After a minutes he sort of used all four limbs to walk.
"Judging by the fact that you would be almost useless in a battle situation under these circumstances, may I take the lead? It would be the smarter choice..."
"Sure," Bastion replied plainly.
Bastion stood up as much as he could, until he hit the ceiling of the underground corridor. Viktor ducked under his left arm and took the lead.
The pair walked for a good five to ten minutes. Finally the path opened into a larger area. Viktor stepped to the side to let his companion out. Bastion eagerly crawled forward and out into the large chasm.
The chasm was lit a little but the sources were very far away. However, the light made it difficult to see for Viktor. He muttered the reverse spell for his eye charm and then replied by dwindling to nothing. His vision was his own again. Viktor took a few steps forward and began to look around. Bastion stretched behind him. He'd grunt his satisfaction every now and then. After taking a few steps, Viktor came to a halt.
"B-Bastion?" Viktor said, barely keeping his usual dignified composure.
"What is it?" Bastion responded, taking less steps then Viktor had and still reaching the same distance along side his elvish comrade.
"I believe we have found the source of the foul stench."
"What is that?" Asked Bastion, looking to Viktor.
"Look there," Viktor said, while thrusting his right arm straight out in front of him and pointing toward the light.
Bastion turned his head back up and forward. He stood there a few seconds, adjusting his vision. Before them, many yards away were numerous large pentagrams painted with blood. Around the borders were candles, hence the light source. Among these demonic inscriptions were a plethora of corpses. The pair just stood in silence, in awe at the product of evil necromancy before them.

The ground shook violently, then stopped. "look" Bastian said "the pentagrams have disappeared.” Bodies slowly began to rise from the pile of corpses and make there way toward the two. “Uh oh, I think we should leave,” Viktor exclaimed. But it was to late and the zombies had surrounded them now. Bastian turned around as if he heard something in the distance. Suddenly 4 zombies fell to the floor beside them. “Come on! this way!” yelled a voice from the darkness. Bastian quickly grabbed Viktor and ran toward the sound of piercing arrows. Bastian saw the man that had called out to them and put Viktor down next to the exit. The exit had a large heavy stone door. To heavy for any normal sized individual to push. Then Bastian saw the man that had called to them, he was wearing a hooded cloak that concealed most of his face and carried an elven weaponry. “Go! Hurry” Bastian commanded the two as he pushed back the giant wall. “This should hold them for a wile”. “As for you”. Bastian said grabbing the strangers collar. “Who are you and what are you doing in a place like this?” “My name is Archer Fellmirr. I was training not far from the school when I saw clouds of smoke coming from the schools direction. By the time I got there it was to late, the zombies had left and the school was burned. Then I saw someone walk through the thicket and disappeared and that’s when I came across this underground passage. Why are you here?” “We came across this place, same as you.” Viktor replied. “Well we should get going, I’ll lead.” Archer announced “Oh no you don’t. You didn’t think we were going to trust you just like that did you?” Bastian replied. “I’ll lead. We got to meet up with Ark and Olivia.” ((how was that? I didn’t screw anything up did I? I'm a newb to RP =( ))
